Stalwart Electric began in 2009 with a simple goal: to provide dependable, high‑quality electrical service to commercial clients. What started as a small operation focused on commercial service work grew quickly, and by 2010 the company welcomed its first full‑time employee and began taking on construction projects.

Growth continued steadily over the next decade. In 2015, Stalwart Electric acquired Wahl Electric, integrating their operations and strengthening its service capabilities. This momentum carried into 2017 with the acquisition of DRE Electric, which also marked a move into DRE’s former location in Westlock. Over the years that followed, Stalwart expanded its team, took on larger and more complex projects, and broadened its offerings to include fire alarm services and instrumentation technicians.

By 2022, the company had outgrown its space, and in 2023 a new opportunity arose—literally across the street. Stalwart purchased the property, began extensive renovations, and proudly moved into its new home in 2024.

A defining characteristic of Stalwart’s growth has been the trust placed in the company by long‑standing clients. Many have invited Stalwart to support projects outside its traditional service area, a reflection of the consistent quality and reliability the team aims to deliver. This trust helped make 2025 an especially meaningful year, with work completed not only throughout Alberta but also in British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, and Quebec. The year concluded with the formation of a U.S. subsidiary, laying the foundation for future expansion south of the border.

Despite this growth, Stalwart’s core values remain unchanged.
